    Here’s some of the measures that have been put in place to enhance the
    environment for shoppers and to make the centre more sustainable now and in the future.

    • From July 2026 secure bike lockers will be available near the bus station – more information coming soon!
    Waste Management at Arena

    • Multiple streams of waste recycled
    • 58% of all our collected waste recycled in 2025 with the rest used for energy exchange
    • Zero waste to landfill
    • Every tenant contributes towards recycling targets
    • Recycling target for December 2026 is 75%
    • Encouraging visitors and tenants to use the correct bin and not to mix waste
    Bike Awareness at Arena

    Cycle Recycling

    Arena works in Partnership with The Cycle Recycler.  Any bikes unclaimed from Lost Property are collected, repaired and sold on with 50% of profits going to charity. 93% of materials are recycled as environmentally as possible
