Covid 19 Measures
Arena Shopping Coventry

Arena Shopping Park’s upmost priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its customers. We understand that you may have concerns about returning and want to reassure you that we’ve put in place all the necessary measures to help you safely enjoy everything Arena has to offer.

Latest Covid Information

6th April From Monday 12 April 2021, non-essential stores will be permitted to open in England, meaning that Arena’s stores will be open. Restaurants and dining outlets remain closed for dine in, but will continue to offer takeaway and/or delivery. Please review our latest opening times for more information.

Keeping Customers Safe

A number of safety measures are currently in place at the shopping centre. We ask that everyone follows these to make their experience, and that of other shoppers, as safe and enjoyable as possible when they visit us. By doing this we will be able to continue supporting the needs of our community. We would also ask that everyone is considerate to the centre’s staff, those working in the stores and to other shoppers when visiting us. Published opening times may change at short notice as situations change, so it is recommended that you check our latest opening times before visiting us for the most up to date information.

Social distancing

In line with government guidance, we would ask that visitors continue to practice social distancing and maintain a minimum 2m distance. The centre has put in place stickers and posters along the mall as a reminder to continue to socially distance during your visit.

One way system

A one way system has been implemented throughout the centre to help maintain social distancing. Individual shopping lanes have been created and floor stickers are in place to help guide visitors.

Visiting our stores

There will be a maximum number of people allowed into each store at one time (this number will vary according to that store’s individual policy) and the public will be asked to queue outside in a socially distanced manner until it’s their turn to enter the store. Floor stickers have been put in place to help people maintain a 2m distance whilst waiting. We’d recommend bringing an umbrella in case of bad weather, as you should be prepared to queue outside some stores.

Hand washing

We would ask that you wash your hands regularly during your visit. This can be done within the centre’s Public Toilets or at a number of Hand Sanitising Stations which have been installed at regular intervals along the mall.

Outdoor seating

All outdoor seating is now fully available.

Public toilets

The public toilets at Arena are open for you to use. Some sinks and cubicles within the toilets are closed off to help maintain social distancing and hand dryers have been replaced with paper towel dispensers.

Cleaning

Enhanced cleaning provisions have been put in place, with additional deep cleaning of public areas, toilet facilities and touch points to ensure the highest possible level of cleanliness throughout the centre.

Arena Shopping Park Staff

Our centre team will be on hand as always to help you during your visit and can advise on any queries you have. Management staff, security, cleaners, and other public-facing members of the team will wear PPE including face masks and gloves whilst working on-site to maintain their safety and the safety of others. A full training programme has been implemented for staff, so they are able to carry out their work and continue to help the public, whilst maintaining social distancing. Please don’t hesitate to ask a staff member if you have any queries during your visit.

Bring Your Mask

It is still mandatory to wear a face covering in shops and supermarkets across England, so please bring your mask with you when you visit the centre. Visitors should also wear their mask in the enclosed public areas of the centre to keep themselves and others safe.

Parking

Arena Shopping Park continues to offer 5 hours of FREE onsite secure open air car parking available for 1,600 cars.
